This is current vaccine information submitted to me by Dr. Matthew Wheaton, DVM from the Alicia Pet Care Center in Mission Viejo reminding us all to take care related to over-vaccination and correct vaccination of our pets. Here is what he says:
FIP is not a recommended vaccine for any cat.
Corona virus and Canine Influenza are both vaccines that they are continuing to administer as per their website. Again, not recommended.
Our prices are $12 per vaccine across the board for everyone so that our own clients do not mess up their pets by overvaccinating their pets.
Here is the current vaccine protocol that is representative of what is the standard for the US: http://www.vetmed.ucdavis.edu/vmth/small_animal/internal_medicine/vaccination_protocols.cfm
